Once the order is confirmed and paid, the next day we initiate the order for dispatch. However, the handling time for an order would be 3-5 working days. Basket24 is working with multiple carrier partners to ensure that your customer receives their item safely and quickly. All orders will be processed and delivered within the 7 -10 working days, depending on the customer’s postcode.

We are currently serving PAN India with more than 20,000 pincodes. Any pincode that falls under the unserviceable category (remote or rural locations) will lead to extra shipping charges with a 15 to 20-day delivery time.

Since Basket24 does not have its own logistics company and relies on 3PL (3rd Party Logistics) for shipping, we follow these policies:

  • All disputes related to damage, fake delivery, etc. must be raised within 48 hours of delivery/delivery attempt. Any cases raised after 48 hours will not be entertained.

  • Courier partners will entertain damage claims only if negative remarks are mentioned on the POD (Proof of Delivery) copy. If the POD copy is clean, no claim will be accepted.

  • Shipping costs are based on product weight and delivery address.

  • Basket24 will not provide refunds or resend products if an order is not delivered due to any reason and is processed for RTO (Return to Origin). Read our Return & Refund Policy.

Q. Do you ship to international addresses?

Currently, we only ship within India.

Q. Who will bear the return shipping costs?

Usually, return costs are borne by the seller or the end customer. We follow the same policy.

Q. Who will bear the delivery cost?

We provide Free Shipping on orders above ₹10,000 across India. Below this amount, standard shipping rates apply. If the order is COD, you need to pay an additional ₹75 or 2.5% extra.

Q. Does Basket24 provide COD or only Prepay for dropshipping orders?

Yes, we provide COD services to your customers. However, please note that we accept only prepaid orders from you.

That means, if you get a COD order, you’ll need to place the order with Basket24 as prepaid. We will deliver it as COD (at the retail price you sold it for) to your buyer. Once we receive the amount from the courier company, we will settle the full amount with you without any deductions.

Q. How long does it take to receive COD settlements?

It can take up to 20 days to settle your COD orders. This is an industry norm for COD payments.

Q. Incorrect Address

If the address provided by you for delivery is incorrect, and if an address correction is requested, there will be no changes once the order is shipped.

Q. Can I change the delivery date for my order?

You can only change the delivery date if the order is undelivered due to some reason. However, we cannot guarantee delivery on the requested date.

Q. How to reduce RTO (Return to Origin) in shipping?

  • Contact Information – Ensure you provide the correct and complete address with a landmark while entering the customer’s details. The same applies to the contact number.

  • Fake Orders – Detect fake orders by checking contact details (e.g., fake phone numbers, incorrect addresses, or email IDs). Stay alert against frauds.

  • NDR (Non-Delivery Report) – Take action on NDR on time.

Q. What happens when a shipment is lost in transit?

If a shipment is lost in transit, you can drop an email at support@basket24.in. We will reship the order once we receive confirmation from our courier partner.

Q. What if my customer hasn’t received their order?

The distribution centers for our products are located in Mumbai and Jhansi. Once the order is confirmed and paid, the next day we initiate the dispatch process. The handling time is 3-5 working days. After dispatch, it may take up to 7-10 days for delivery, depending on the customer’s postcode.

If the customer hasn’t received the order within the given timeframe, it may be due to an incorrect address, phone number, or other issues. Please verify the customer details with us.

Q. What does “Expected Delivery Date” in the tracking link mean?

It is the tentative date by which your order will reach the customer’s doorstep.

Q. What does “Undelivered 1st Attempt” mean in shipping?

When the order is out for delivery but not delivered for any reason, it is marked as Undelivered 1st Attempt. In this case, the customer receives an email with a re-attempt link. They must select a new delivery date.

If the customer does not take action, our team will request a re-attempt.

Common reasons for undelivered shipments:

  • Customer not contactable

  • Incomplete address

  • COD amount not ready

  • Future delivery requested by the customer

  • Customer refused delivery

  • Door/premises/office closed

📌 Note: Different courier companies have different policies. Some make three delivery attempts, while others mark the order RTO after the first attempt.

Q. What if the customer is not available at the time of delivery?

If the customer is unavailable, the courier partner will attempt delivery again on the next business day. A third attempt will be made if necessary.

Q. What is RTO (Return to Origin)?

If the courier executive cannot deliver the shipment to the end customer, they mark the order RTO and send it back to the original pickup address.

Q. What is “RTO Initiated” and “RTO Delivered”?

  • RTO Initiated – The order was undelivered and returned to the seller.

  • RTO Delivered – The returned order has reached the seller’s address.
