Dropshipping is a retail fulfillment method where the seller does not keep stock but purchases products from a supplier who ships them directly to the customer.

Q. How does Dropshipping work?

  1. The drop shipper lists products in their store or marketplace.
  2. A customer places an order and pays the drop shipper.
  3. The drop shipper orders the product from Basket24 and pays the wholesale price.
  4. Basket24 ships the product directly to the customer.

Q. Is it necessary to have an account with Basket24?
Yes, a registered account is mandatory to place orders and track shipping, payments, and notifications.

Q. Do I need to buy products before selling them?
No, you only purchase products after receiving an order and payment from your customer.

Q. Can I sell Basket24 products on Amazon, Flipkart, etc.?
Currently, we do not support Amazon, Flipkart, and similar marketplaces but you can sell on your website and social media.

Q. What are the shipping & delivery times?
Orders are processed within 3-5 working days and delivered within 7-15 days, depending on the location.

Q. Can I cancel my order?
Orders can only be canceled before they are dispatched.

Q. How can I track my order?
You will receive an email with a tracking number once your order is shipped.

Q. Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we ship only within India.

Q. Who bears the return shipping costs?
Return costs are usually borne by the seller or the end customer.

Q. Who pays for delivery charges?
Orders above ₹10,000 qualify for free shipping. For others, standard shipping rates apply. COD orders have an extra charge of ₹75 or 2.5%.

Q. Does Basket24 provide COD for dropshipping?
Yes, COD is available. However, drop shippers must prepay Basket24 before COD orders are shipped.

Q. How long does it take to settle COD payments?
COD settlements take up to 20 days, following industry standards.

Q. What happens if an incorrect address is provided?
Once shipped, the address cannot be changed.

Q. Can I change my delivery date?
Delivery dates can only be changed for undelivered shipments but are not guaranteed.

Q. How to reduce RTO in shipping?
Ensure accurate customer details, verify phone numbers, and act on NDR (Non-Delivery Report) promptly.

Q. What happens if a shipment is lost in transit?
Email us at support@basket24.in. Once confirmed by the courier, we will reship the order.

Q. What if a customer has not received their order?
Verify the shipping details and contact us if the order is delayed beyond the expected delivery time.

Q. What does ‘expected delivery date’ mean in tracking?
It is the estimated date when the customer will receive their order.

Q. What does ‘undelivered 1st attempt’ mean?
If the order is not delivered on the first attempt due to various reasons, a re-attempt will be made.

Q. What if the customer is unavailable at the time of delivery?
The courier will attempt delivery up to three times before marking it as RTO (Return to Origin).

Q. What is RTO and why does it happen?
RTO (Return to Origin) occurs when an order is undelivered due to incorrect address, non-contactable customer, or refusal to accept delivery.
